Startup wins award for AI smart-glasses for doctors after founder’s child loses vision

In 2020, Esther Oh’s 16 year old son contracted a virus where misdiagnosis and delays during the COVID lockdown caused irreversible blindness while doctor friends died from COVID.

This devastation turned to innovation to save, protect and transform lives, by delivering knowledge on demand in real time to empower humans to work smarter, faster and safer using a proprietary solution called XRAI Vision™ that integrates extended reality, artificial intelligence and computer vision into an intuitive Plug & Play solution for advanced telehealth and emergency rescues.

Esther says, “It is so sad and devastating that a gifted and wonderful child is denied many jobs due to a permanent disability. The world loses significant knowledge and skills when highly skilled people leave the medical profession.

I thought hard about what I can do to help support those in high pressure and demanding jobs when their lives are also at risk trying to save our lives, and how I can upskill the workforce despite limitations and disabilities.

I’m glad to find a cost-effective solution to treat more patients with less time, resources and human errors,, protect those on the frontline and transform lives of those already adversely impacted, radically  transforming the way humans see, learn and work.”
