Energy Efficiency Grants for Small Business; up to $25,000 to purchase energy efficient equipment upgrades.
Small and medium businesses are encouraged to look at a new grant from the Australian Government providing up to $25,000 to replace or upgrade existing equipment to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs.
The Energy Efficiency Grants for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (Round 1) aims to support businesses to upgrade or replace inefficient equipment to improve their energy efficiency.
Grants are from $10,000 to $25,000, to cover up to 100% of eligible project expenditure.
Applications are open to businesses with an employee headcount between 1 and 199.
Grants will be awarded to eligible applicants on a first come, first served basis until the funding is exhausted. There is a total of $16 million available in Round 1.
A high level of interest is expected for this grant opportunity.
